BRAVO!!!

Okay one, you are a joy to read, lol. But two, like other commenters have said, if you feel as though parenting is not for you then it isn't for you. I will say this and then I'll leave it be, I honestly don't think there is a difference between having a child in your 20s or in your 30s (as a woman), where you won't inherently change somewhat in order to adapt to your new role as a mother. I wholeheartedly think, its just in a woman's make up to change at least a little without really trying. Now maybe not when you're a teenager, because some form of responsibility needs to already exist. But either way... the most important thing is, YOU... KNOW... YOU. And if you say it wasn't and isn't for you, then it is not for you.

and another thing - children are noisy, smell bad most of the time, only cute when they are asleep, and have to have food to eat every day. I never broke mine of that habit! Seriously, for those persons who have made the decision to not have children, it is still possible to love and enjoy OPC - other peoples children, and try to be a good example most of the time, even if it is a drag.

Thanks - this post is all in humor, but there are also some medical reasons I don't think kids are gonna happen for me, and I'm totally OK with it. I enjoy watching other people's babies grow up, and I like hanging out with them, but giving them back before I lose my friggin' mind! Who knows? Maybe I'll be a foster parent someday.

This was a hilarious & thought provoking post! After reading it, I am going to have to agree that you probably shouldn't have children. I believe that certain people are made to have children but it isn't for everyone. Children are human beings (young ones at that) and they will test & try your patience well into their adulthood. It takes a truly special & patient person to have children. So if you feel like you're not one of those people then please don't have children & revert to child abuse. I would say continue to be the best Auntie to your little cousin that you can be. Sometimes it's better to be the cool Auntie than the angry mother.

Also, I hope to see you at one of the Social Media Week events next week! Sorry for the random sidebar, I'll tweet you later!
